A HISTORIC REINSTATEMENT OF THE
Anyone, including priest or minister, who denies the mystical context of the Faith deprives the faithful of the spiritual essence of Christianity. Worship, fellowship, charity, stewardship, and the ministry are but the manifested and compelling outcome of that mystical experience.
It is the continuum of that mystical experience from pre-Christian Greek philosophical thought and thence through the CHRIST teaching that the Christian Faith and Ethos evolved. Jesus knew well the seekers of wisdom and the reason why his message would soon be disseminated. Scripture articulates the event with clarity in the following passage:
And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified (John 12:20-23).
The Apostle Paul found fertile ground upon which to nourish his message. He would not have otherwise succeeded. Resistance he encountered nestled in artificial forms of social habit and not in the searching mind, heart, and soul of the people. The problem always exists as it did in the past among the Pharisees, and also today by the often misplaced and overworked posturings of cults and religions.
To be enthralled and enriched in an artful and dramatic reenactment of ancient search for truth, prompted by its philosophical underpinning, join the DELPHIC FESTIVAL in DELPHI, June 4 -11, 2005.
To develop advance
insight and in order to be best prepared to attend the Delphic Festival,
it
is recommended to read first the essay, GREEK DANCE:
An Ancient Link ~ A Living Heritage.
It is written by
Athan Karras, renowned expert and Dancer of the
Dances of Greece.
The captivating essay is featured in this Web Page and it
is prime reading even
for persons not traveling to Greece.

She will be leading workshops at the Festival of the Delphic Games, June 4-11, 2005 that resurrect the ancient Greek spirit of poetry energized with dance and robed with melody.
"In theatre, poetry, music, dance and prophecy there are rare spiritual events—moments marking renewed points of departure in the quest of the human spirit. Galatea's dance poem is such a seminal moment." Dr. Robert Crist
"The key to Galatea's accomplishment is that by instinct or wisdom—or both—she united all the arts, made them one and put them at the service of a magical relationship: that of the human being and the many voiced, but also silent, unknown surrounding him. And so we have music, dance, kinetics, image and word, all in one. The knowledge of myth becomes alive.” Katerina Anghelaki-Rooke
